My name is Amanda Fallon, and I am the Veterinary Science teacher here at Monroe. I am in my 4th year employed with Loudoun County Public Schools and my 3rd year at Monroe.

 

I hold a Bachelor Degree from Oregon State University in Environmental Science and Fisheries and Wildlife. I've been licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine in three states, Maine, Massachusetts and Oregon.

 

I have had the rare opportunity to enjoy Veterinary Medicine as Head Technician at a Zoo, Wildlife Rehabilitation and in  multiple private practices.  My favorite experience was in the wilderness of Oregon and many countries in Africa.  Private Practices have been the most common with a specialty in Emergency Medicine.

 

I have enjoyed this field for over 20 years and adore the enthusiasm from the students here at Monroe.
