Ms. Burke has been teaching Art in Loudoun County for 9 years. She has a Bachelor of Art degree in Photography from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She received her teaching certificate of Art Education from George Washington University.  She is working on her Masters of Independent Studies with an emphasis in oil painting and mixed media at Virginia Commonwealth Universtiy and will graduate spring 2013. Ms. Burke currently teaches Art 1,3, 4.
Prior to becoming a teacher, Ms. Burke worked 14 years as staff photographer and photography editor of nine medical publications for Reed Elsevier.
