| Heather DeVido I am grateful to be teaching second grade at Belmont Station. After graduating from Virginia Tech, I taught for several years in Fairfax and Loudoun County. I had the privilege of opening Sanders Corner Elementary. My career took a detour while I stayed home to raise my children. During that time I began various reading programs involving local children. Today I'm a long time resident of Belmont Greene. I am married to my highschool sweetheart from Oakton High and together we have four fabulous children: Hannah, Abby, Mary Kate and Cole. In my not so spare time, I love to catch up with friends, read, exercise, bike with my family, and cook. I'm thrilled to nurture my passion of teaching children. | ||

I believe that each student is a unique individual with specific strengths and talents. It is my goal as a teacher to identify and foster those strengths while at the same time encouraging a love for learning. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, creating art and traveling to new places. | ||
