My name is Patty Griffith. This is my 22nd year as an educator! I graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1989 with a dual B.A. in Elementary and Special Education. I have worked for Loudoun County Public Schools for sixteen years. I am proud to say that I was a charter member of Evergreen Mill as both an educator and parent. I have also worked at Cool Spring Elementary and Creighton's Corner Elementary as well. My varied background includes five years as a special education resource teacher, three years as a preschool teacher, and fourteen years as an elementary teacher in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.

I absolutely love to read! Some of my favorite authors include Jerry Spinelli, Andrew Clements, Rick Riordan, Chris Van Ahlsburg, Mark Teague, and Dr. Seuss. I currently live in Leesburg with my husband, daughter, son, and dog, Buddy. We enjoy soccer, football, basketball, cheerleading, and traveling.
