Child Find: provide case management services for parents of high risk students ages 2 through 5 years who are going through the special education eligibility process.
Socio-Cultural Case Histories: interview parents and develop socio-cultural assessments for students going through the special education eligibility process.
Individual Special Education Assessment and Counseling: IEP driven assessment and counseling to keep students in a least restrictive environment through individual skill development.
Student Development Groups: co-facilitate groups for students in special education in the areas of anger management, social skills, and self –esteem to assist in preventing more restrictive placements and promote academic success.
Family Assessment and Planning Team Referrals: present school referrals to an inter-agency committee to obtain comprehensive wrap around services to support students’ social, emotional, and academic success.
Clinical Support Teams for Students with Emotional Disabilities: chair multi-disciplinary meetings in schools to support the academic and social needs of special education students with behavioral issues of marked severity and duration.
