It is such a pleasure to be the new Administrative Intern at Steuart Weller Elementary School.
I am so fortunate and thrilled to be a part of an energetic community, and I am looking forward to meeting each one of you.
This is my 10th year as an educator and I bring a vast amount of teaching and leadership experience to Steuart Weller. My first five years of teaching included being a special education teacher and I worked collaboratively with general education teachers. For the past four years, I have been a general education teacher working in fifth and first grades.
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Special Education-Learning Disability. As of August 2012, I completed my Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Regent University.
As the Administrative Intern, I am looking forward to assisting Mrs. Platenberg and Ms. Kissel in their journey to educate the students at Steuart Weller.
