Mr. Moore is the first Principal of Stone Hill Middle School. He began his career in public education in North Carolina as a Gifted and Talented Resource Teacher. He then went on to teach high school English before moving to Fairfax County in 1998 to teach 8^th grade English at Langston Hughes Middle School in Reston, VA. In 2001, he became an Administrative Intern and then opened Liberty Middle School in Clifton, VA as an Assistant Principal in 2002. In 2004, he was named Principal of Sidney Lanier Middle School in Fairfax, VA. He was named Principal of Stone Hill Middle School in 2006.

Mr. Moore is pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Virginia. He has a masters in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron, a bachelors in English from Elizabeth City State University and an endorsement in Administration and Supervision of Education Pre K-12 from the University of Virginia.
