Welcome to Ashburn Elementary PE!

The Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Elementary Physical Education Curriculum is aligned with the Virginia Standards of Learning and the National Standards for Physical Education, as well as the goals and objectives of LCPS for its students regarding healthy lifestyles. This curriculum is divided into the following three sections

Lifetime Fitness and Wellness
Movement Skills
Manipulative Skills

P.E. REMINDERS….

· Please have your child wear or bring sneakers and comfortable clothing to school on P.E. days.

· If your child is not able to participate in P.E. due to illness or injury, please send in a note. If he/she will be out for more than one week, please send in a doctor’s note (or have doctor fax it to us at 703-771-6792).
