Welcome to Second Grade

Second Grade is an exciting year of learning and exploration. Throughout the year, students engage in hands on learning activities designed to foster independent thinkers. The Second Grade classroom environment is one where they know their ideas and opinions will be valued and respected by their teachers and classmates.

The academic goals and objectives are designed to meet each child at their independent level and devolop their love of learning. They will be challenged to exceed teacher's high expectations in a supportive, caring, safe setting.

Family members will always be welcome in the classroom to be part of the learning community. They are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the school.

Second grade students are encouraged to logon to the online Reflex math program at home. Each student has a unique login. This information was sent home with the students.

Instructions: After loading the Reflex home page you MUST click "Launch" in the upper right hand corner of the page. The student username is either nbossi or eoconnor depending on who their teacher is. The password is their 4 digit birthday code. Example: User Name: nbossi, Password: 0406 (April 6).
