Greetings from Mrs. Broaddus Cool Spring’s Principal.
I come to you originally from Erie, PA where I graduated from Gannon University with a BS in Elementary Education. I then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Edinboro University where I earned a Masters of Education Degree. Upon graduating from Edinboro, I moved to Winchester, VA to begin my career.
I began my career in education in 1992, teaching 7th and 8th grade math/pre-algebra in Frederick County, VA. I taught in the middle school for six years before moving to an elementary school to teach 4th grade. In 2002, I was hired here at Cool Spring as your Assistant Principal and now have been appointed as Principal.
Our staff is child centered and committed to the success of every student. The community support from all of our families can’t be beat. The past four years here have been wonderful. I truly enjoy the role I have here at Cool Spring.
