Art / Welcome

Welcome to the Guilford Art Department!

All students in 1st through 5th grade attend art class once a week for 50 minutes. In this time, they explore many wonderful art mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, fiber arts, collage, sculpture, ceramics, as well as computer and photo imaging. The art program emphasizes a hands-on approach to learning the visual arts, enriched by the integration of art history, art criticism, and aesthetics.
