Mrs. Robinson is beginning her 11th year with Loudoun County Public Schools.   This is her 25th year in education.

Mrs. Robinson is a lifelong Virginia resident.  Upon completion of a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, she began her teaching career in Fairfax County.  Over many years, Mrs. Robinson taught kindergarten, first, second and third grade.

She returned to George Mason University and acquired a Master’s degree in Supervision and Administration.  She served as an assistant principal in an elementary school with more than one thousand students in Stafford County.  A few years later, Mrs. Robinson accepted an assignment in Fairfax County as an assistant principal.  In 2002, she was appointed principal of Cool Spring ES in Leesburg.  In 2006, she was appointed principal of Sugarland Elementary.

Mrs. Robinson has a daughter and two sons.  Her youngest son attends Sugarland ES.  She likes to spend time on photography, reading and hanging out with her kids.

She often reminds the students that she has been “going to school” for a long time and she is still required to do her “homework” every night - just as they must complete their homework, too!
