English Language Learning

at Sully Elementary

2012-2013 ELL Teachers

English  Language Learning (ELL) in Loudoun County Public Schools is a multi-faceted, K-12 program that enables specially trained and licensed teachers mentor and instruct young learners by emphasizing listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

The diversity of Sully Elementary, with students representing more than twenty nationalities and languages, allows teachers to blend specialized instructional strategies and techniques designed to maximize instructional time. ELL and grade-level teachers work jointly to provide students with a blended style of learning which simultaneously strengthens both cognitive and language development.

This fall, Sully Elementary is pleased to be adding the PEP (Parents as Educational Partners) program as an additional resource for our parents who are not familiar with the educational process in the United States, LCPS or Sully Elementary.

Find out more about the ELL team and contact us with any questions or concerns. We are looking forward to another year of educational learning, growth and fun!
