Construction Division Overview:
 
As the fastest growing school district in the Commonwealth, Loudoun County Public Schools must continue to build new schools and remodel older facilities to accommodate the county's current and future school-age population. Public school enrollment has skyrocketed from the 37,532 students reported a decade ago to over 68,200 pupils enrolled in September 2012.
 
Our Mission Statement:
  • Provide management and oversight for the implementation of the Capital Improvements Program
     
  • Assist in the evaluation of sites for new schools
     
  • Prepare plans and specifications for the construction and renovation of new and existing facilities
     
  • Implement a continuous evaluation process of existing plans and specifications to ensure parity of all school facilities
     
  • Provide a safe, secure, and appropriate physical environment in which the educational process can take place
