| Head Start | Head Start is a Federally funded program that serves 85 four-year old and 15 three-year old children. The eligible children reside in families with income levels at or below the federal poverty level. Head Start is a comprehensive, developmentally appropriate pre-school experience for children which strives to meet the medical, dental, nutritional, social and emotional and educational needs of the children and provides extensive support to their families. | Carol Basham, Coordinator 571-252-2110 |
| Technology Resource Services | Technology Resource Services supports the integration of technology into instruction through a cadre of Technology Resource Teachers, a software review and procurement system that provides teachers and students with up-to-date and appropriate matrices of software, and Loudoun VITAL, a tech leadership professional development program that gives all administrators the knowledge and skills to support learning with technology in the 21st century. Library Media Services supports the school libraries by providing a range of activities, services and materials designed to promote learning and information literacy. Additionally, Library Media Services operates the Instructional Resource Center which circulates materials to schools to support curriculum, a Professional Library, two Teacher Production Centers, and administers the SAFARI Montage system for the district. | |

| Pathways To Reading and Writing | Pathways To Reading and Writing is a staff development program that provides kindergarten, first and second-grade teachers, and specialists with training in research-based reading and writing strategies along with new instructional materials.
