Dear Parents,

WELCOME to First Grade!

I hope that you and your child will have a wonderful summer. I will be traveling to Costa Rica with my daughter.  I  will also be enjoying a family vacation on a Disney Cruise for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I look forward to reading books and relaxing with my whole family.  I  also look forward to hearing what you did this summer. I hope it will include reading.  Keep reading, practicing math facts and writing!. :-)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

I have been teaching in Loudoun County for 27 years! I have a daughter who also attends Loudoun County public schools. My husband and I enjoy watching her play both soccer, lacorsse, and basketball.   I look forward to working with your child and seeing how he or she progresses. As a learning team, your child, you, and I will be able to work together discovering and learning. As we all work to our potential we will be able to achieve success. I have been at Meadowland for over two decades.   I am excited about  the experiences, dreams and hopes that we all will share this coming year.
