Welcome to second grade!  I am truly excited to begin the new school year with our class.  I look forward to getting to know all of you.  I am sure we will have a positive and rewarding school year!

This will be my seventeenth year teaching. I have a bachelor’s degree with dual certification in elementary and special education. My teaching experience includes teaching various grades K-9 in several school districts including Alexandria City Schools, Fairfax County, and Loudoun County. For the past eight years, I have taught second grade at Mill Run and had a blast!  

On a personal note, I am very blessed to have three, healthy children and a very caring husband. My son, Trent, recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University and has relocated to Colorado.  My daughter, Hanna, is in her third year of college attending Virginia Commonwealth University.  My son, Logan, is a senior attending Briar Woods High School.  We moved to the Broadlands ten years ago and love the community! I enjoy reading, biking, playing tennis, working out at the gym, and spending time with my family and friends.
