Mrs. Sharon Welch

Mrs. Sharon Welch has completed 22 years of service in Loudoun County Public Schools. In 2001, she received the Shenandoah University Teacher of the Year Award. Mrs. Welch has served the Virginia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance as the Elementary Physical Education Chairperson, the Outstanding Physical Education Program Committee and the Vice President for the Physical Education Division. She shares with other teachers through publications, workshops, presentations at state, regional and national conventions and has served on committees for Loudoun County. In 2006, Mrs. Welch received the Elementary Physical Education Teacher of the Year Award during the State Convention. She has coached the Girls on the Run Program for 8 years and has been a buddy runner for several races.
