The 2011 - 2012 school year will mark my 9th year in the Virginia public education system.  This school year will be my second year serving as a school counselor at Rolling Ridge Elementary School. 

After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, I worked as an elementary school teacher in the Fairfax County Public School system teaching grades 6, 3, and 1 respectively.  I made the switch to school counselor, and to working with Loudoun County Public Schools after receiving my Masters of Education in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech, as well my National Counselor Certification.

In my free time I love to cook, sew, exercise, and spend time with my friends, husband, and two cats:)
