The General Public may submit applications April 1* - May 15.
 
Parents may apply for their child to transfer to schools based on space availability beginning   
April 1 through May 15 for the subsequent school year.

On January 22 and February 12, the Loudoun County School Board adopted revisions to Policy §8-20, School Assignment, which went into effect immediately, replacing the previous version of the policy.
  
 
Policy §8-25, Transfer to Under-Enrolled Schools, has been deleted in its entirety.
 
 
                  Window for 2013-14 requests: All requests will be reviewed in the order received

March 1 - May 15                     

LCPS Employees

ONLY LCPS employees who are requesting that their child attend the school to which they are assigned OR LCPS employees who are requesting that their elementary aged child attend an elementary school within the cluster of the school to which they are assigned may apply beginning March 1. All other employees with a special permission request must wait until April 1 to submit a request.
 
Employees with rising kindergarten students must complete registration at their home school, prior to submitting a request on April 17.

Requests may not be submitted until 12:01 AM on April 17.
Students must have completed registration requirements at their home school on April 16, in order to have their request considered for the requested school.
