Susie Donohoe is currently the Vice President on the John Champe PTSA Board. She has lived in Loudoun County for over 18 years, the last 11 in Lenah Run. She has two children: Will, who is currently a sophomore at John Champe and John, a freshman in college. In the past, Susie has served the positions of President, Vice President and Treasurer at Pinebrook and Arcola Elementary schools. Susie serves as the team manager for her son’s soccer team and works part-time as a bookkeeper. Susie strongly believes in the PTA’s mission “To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children”. She looks forward to working hard to fulfill this mission.
Vice President: Sally Fuller
Sally Fuller is currently the President of the John Champe PTSA. I have two sons at John Champe and I enjoy serving on the PTSA because I get to see first hand how parental involvement really helps the students in their school. I have a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University. As a Navy wife for over 21 years, I have moved between Florida and California but have been in Northern Virginia for 11 years. I served as President of John Champe this past year and I have served as the Pinebrook Elementary PTA President in 2006-2007. I was Vice President for LEAP (Loudoun Education of Parents) for two years and have served for two years on the Stone Ridge 5K committee. I enjoy serving because I think it’s important to give back to one’s community through service. In addition, I feel in high school it’s so important to keep those lines of communication open between parent and student. PTSA is such a great way to meet that need. John Champe is such a wonderful high school and it is a privilege to be nominated.
Treasurer: Heidi Rackoski
Heidi Rackoski is currently serving as John Champe PTSA Treasurer. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelors degree in accounting in 1987 and has been working in the field ever since. She has lived in Loudon County for eight years with her husband and three children who all attend Loudoun County schools. She has a freshman at John Champe who will be a sophomore this coming fall. Heidi has been a volunteer for PTAs at Pinebrook, Mercer, Freedom and John Champe as well as the athletic booster clubs for Freedom and John Champe.
Recording Secretary: Tina Stanley
Tina Stanley is currently serving in her 2nd year as the PTA Treasurer at Pinebrook Elementary school. Tina has lived in Loudoun County for almost 10 years, and was born and raised in the area. She lives with her husband and 3 children in the Blue Spring Farm Community. Next year she will have a child at Champe, one at Mercer, and one at Pinebrook. Tina has been involved with her kids PTA/Parent Group since they were in preschool. She is an active volunteer as well as the Technology Assistant at Pinebrook Elementary School.
Corresponding Secretary: Martine Edier
Martine Edier is currently serving as the John Champe PTSA Corresponding Secretary. She is also the PTA Corresponding Secretary at Mercer MS and serves as a liaison between both schools. She was re-elected in May 2013 for the same position on the 2013-2014 Mercer PTA Board. Born and raised in France, Martine moved to the United States 11 years ago. She has been living in Stone Ridge for 9 years. She has 2 children: Elea, currently a sophomore at JCHS and Nicolas, a 7th grader at Mercer. She previously served as the Recording Secretary on the Arcola PTA Board for 3 years, co-chair of the Mercer French Club and French teacher for the Arcola after-school program.
