Art / Meet the Teachers

Ms. Allen is heading into her tenth year at Frances Hazel Reid. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland (College Park), teacher certification from Bowie State University (also in Maryland) and has been working towards a master's equivalent in Fine Art from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ms. Allen has taught in Prince George's County in Maryland, Shenandoah and Chesterfield counties in Virginia, and three years at Catoctin Elementary in Leesburg before coming to Frances Hazel Reid its first year.
