About Mrs. Snyder

Mrs. Jean Snyder is beginning her seventh year in the Loudoun County Public Schools. She comes from Kearneysville, WV where she spent eleven years teaching second and third graders.

Mrs. Snyder graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Math.   Her husband, Steve, is also a teacher.

In her professional career she has strived to be an honest, caring and open person. She loves working with students and parents. She has high expectations for her students and she is confident that working together, all goals will be met.

In her leisure time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as shopping, knittting, and reading.  She also enjoys playing with her three Scottish Terriers, Abigail, Belle, and Blackie.
