Guidance / Mrs. Routzahn

Mrs. Routzahn is very excited to be returning to the Lovettsville Elementary School Community for the seventh year! Prior to coming to Lovettsville Elementary she worked at Seldens Landing Elementary School for several years. Mrs. Routzahn loves being an Elementary School Counselor and truly believes in the philosophy that "Kids Come First!". She is looking forward to a WONDERFUL 2012-2013 school year!!!

Mrs. Routzahn received her B.A. in Psychology and her minor in Education Studies from the University of Delaware in Newark, DE. She continued her education at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA where she received her M.Ed. in Counselor Education. She is a certified K-12 School Counselor and has achieved National Certified Counselor (N.C.C.) status.

Mrs. Routzahn's main goal as a School Counselor is to provide assistance to students, parents, and staff members to assure that every Lovettsville Elementary student is working towards reaching their full academic and personal/social potential.
