Mission Statement

The Round Hill Elementary School Mission is to provide ALL students with a positive and challenging, learning environment which empowers them to become responsible and productive citizens of the world.

Working as a partnership, the students, staff, and parents and community, commit themselves to developing the social, emotional, academic and physical well-being of all children.  By developing critical thinking skills, communicated through literacy, fine arts, mathematics, technology and the sciences, the school is responsive to changes in the family, community and world. 

Round Hill students will demonstrate:

• Positive self-esteem, self-discipline and self expression
• Effective communication and social skills
• Critical/creative thinking, problem solving, decision making and risk taking
• Information literacy through the use of technology
• Individual excellence and a desire for life-long learning.
