Bowman

Susan Bowman

Mrs. Bowman has been teaching in Loudoun County for 11 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education from University of Florida and a Masters degree in Varying Exceptionalities from the University of South Florida.  She has been an active member of the Council for Exceptional Children.  She is currently teaching at the Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade levels.  Prior to teaching at Sanders Corner Elementary,  Mrs. Bowman taught in grades 3-5 in Sarasota, Florida.
 
 
Mrs.Grolimund has been a member of our team for 13 years. She is excited to work with the 4th grade team. Mrs. Grolimund earned her bachelor's degree in Latin American Studies from Mary Washington University and completed her licensure in Special Education through Shenandoah University.

Carol Keyes

Mrs. Keyes has been teaching in Loudoun County for ten years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Christopher Newport College.  She received her Elementary Certification from Towson University and holds a Virginia Special Education license with endorsements in Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disorders, and Mentally Handicapped. She is enjoying being part of the fifth grade team for the 2012-2013 school year.

Ms. Potter

 

Ms. Potter has been a teacher in Loudoun County for 10 years.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Calvin College and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from The George Washington University.  She is currently teaching with the third grade team for the 2012-2013 school year. Prior to teaching at Sanders Corner Elementary School, Ms. Potter taught in Michigan, Maryland and in the Marshall Islands as a Peace Corps volunteer.


 

Mrs. PowellThis is Mrs. Powell's third year teaching in Loudoun County.  She has a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University in Special Education and her master's degree from California State University, Bakersfield in Curriculum and Instruction.  Prior to teaching at Sanders Corner, Mrs. Powell taught for seven years in Texas, Oklahoma, and California.  She is looking forward to working with the fifth grade team for the 2013-2014 school year!

Mrs. Lough has been a teacher in Loudoun County for 10 years.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Fairmont State College and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education from Northern Kentucky University. Mrs. Lough is enjoying working with the 5th grade team during the 2012-2013 school year.  Prior to moving to Loudoun County, Mrs. Lough taught in Northern Kentucky in grades K-6 for several years.

Mr. Richards came to Sanders Corner as a teaching assistant, but his talent in working with children was immediately recognized.  Mr. Richards was hired as a teacher in the resource room and the rest is history. Mr. Richards is home-grown and graduated from Loudoun County Public Schools. He then graduated from Messiah College in Grantham, PA and is working towards his Masters in Special Education at GMU. He is currently working with students in grades K-2.
