Message from Assistant Principal, Adam Orton |
Dear Parents, Students, and Staff of Sterling Elementary, My name is Adam Orton and I feel privileged to be the Assistant Principal at Sterling Elementary School. This is my seventh year in education, but my first in Loudoun County Public Schools. I arrive at Sterling Elementary School from Bailey’s Elementary School for the Arts and Sciences in Falls Church, Virginia where I was part of the administrative team as the School Test Coordinator and Assessment Coach. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but spent the majority of my life living in Northern Virginia. I attended the University of Virginia, and completed my Masters’ Degrees in Elementary Education and Educational Leadership from George Mason University. In addition, I am currently completing my Endorsement in Educational Leadership in Special Education from George Mason University. I am very excited to begin working with such a dedicated staff, hard working students, supportive staff, and caring community. I look forward to meeting all of you very soon. I have an “open-door” policy. Please call or stop by so we may work together to make this a terrific school year and support our students so they can be successful. I am delighted to be your Assistant Principal and I invite you to contact me with any questions or concerns anytime. Go Jaguars! Sincerely, Adam Orton, Assistant Principal ![]() | |
