Rhonda Lopez

My name is Rhonda Lopez, and I have enjoyed teaching in Loudoun County for over 10 years. Before that I worked in the private school setting. I have taught Kindergarten, first, sixth, and fourth grades. I am excited to begin my second year at Steuart W. Weller Elementary School with my fellow staff members, students, and parents.

I have earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in education, but I consider myself a lifelong learner. I believe that to be a teacher you must be teachable.

I love to try a variety of activities, but I truly enjoy reading, arts and crafts, and spending time with my family. I consider any school that I am a part of as my family as well. I am looking forward to developing that family atmosphere with all of the Steuart Weller members. Go Wildcats!!!!!

I am very excited to be starting another year as a Weller Wildcat! I have been teaching fourth grade in Loudoun County for several years. Before coming to Loudoun, I taught in upstate New York, where I am originially from. I have earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. As much as I enjoy teaching, I also enjoy learning. I continue to take professional development courses to enhance my abilities to teach your children. I am also working on completing a Professional Studies Certificate in Reading Specialization. In my free time I enjoy being outside, watching sports, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog. I look forward to yet another wonderful year ahead!

This is my fifth year teaching fourth grade in Loudoun County, and my second year as a Weller Wild Cat!  I grew up here in Loudoun and graduated from Park View High School, and then went to college at Radford University in Southwest Virginia.  I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in math and social sciences.  After graduation, I went straight to graduate school and obtained my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Radford as well.  My hobbies include playing with Lucy & Lila (my 5 year old Husky-mix, and my 1 year old golden retriever), traveling (especially if a beach is involved), and photography (so don't be surprised if your child brings pictures home!).  I'm so excited for another school year with the wild cats!

Terry Freeman
Hello fourth graders, family and friends!  My name is Terry Freeman.  This is my first year at Steuart Weller, but I have been teaching for the last seven years, some in private school, and some in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.  I am a career-switcher who recently earned my Master’s in Education from Old Dominion University. I’m originally from Raleigh, North Carolina where I received my BA at North Carolina State.  I live here locally with my husband, two teen daughters who attend Loudoun schools, and one frisky Bichon puppy.  We enjoy bike riding, dance competitions, and exploring the countryside.  I love teaching fourth grade, especially Virginia studies.  I am very excited to get the year underway and meet all my students!

 Elizabeth Muller

Welcome Wild Cats!  I'm very excited to be in Loudoun County and teaching fourth graders. I've taught kindergarten, second, and fifth grade for 27 years in Houston, Texas. I was born and raised in Indiana until 5th grade and spent my middle school and high school years in Pennsylvania.  Therefore, I am a Steelers, Texans, and now a Redskins fan! I have two children, a granddaughter and another granddaughter on the way! I have recently moved to Leesburg and have enjoyed the beautiful mountains and trees in this area!  I enjoy reading, running, exercising and traveling!  I am so excited to meet my new class and look forward to a wonderful year!
