After School Enrichment Program
Spring 2013 - April 2nd to June 3rd
We are very excited to kick off the Spring 2013 DTES After School Enrichment Program (ASEP). The ASEP will be an exciting program in a safe, well-supervised environment that engages and encourages your children.
Studies show that children who participate in after school programs over the course of their life time consistently improved test scores in school, have better than average social skills, and tend to participate in less mischievous activities. In other words, these programs can build better social and academic behavior. Better yet, they are FUN!!!
Back this Year: Learn Music Now
"DTES PTA ASEP is proud to offer students the option to learn music this year through an organization called Learn Music Now. In this program, students will be introduced to instrumental music through a group learning experience. Children will learn to read musical symbols and play songs in a relaxing environment. The objective of these classes is to introduce children to music and specifically their respective instruments in order to promote a love of music and desire to have music in their lives in a meaningful and productive way. Read the flyer for more information on this wonderful program." Registration for the Year-Round music program offered by Learn Now Music is ongoing. Please see the catalog for details about this class. Registration for all music courses will be done through their website: www.learnnowmusic.com.
