The Loudoun County School Board is scheduled to vote on the 2028-29 school year calendar at its next School Board meeting being held Tuesday, Sept. 22.

Since the calendar options were last presented to the community for consideration, School Board members have proposed revisions and new calendar options that may be considered for a vote. Because of these changes, we want to make sure our community has an opportunity to review the options that could be before the School Board next week and provide feedback directly to the members who will be making the decision.

We have created a new webpage featuring the 2028-29 calendar options currently under consideration, including the proposed revisions and new options. The webpage also includes a Let's Talk feedback form, which will send your comments directly to the School Board.

We encourage families, students, staff and community members to review the options and share their perspectives before the School Board meeting.
