The Division of Infrastructure and Engineering is comprised of teams that are responsible for supporting all core infrastructure and IT systems.  These systems include internet bandwidth and access, content filter, wireless networks, staff accounts, device configuration, and enterprise support processes.

Infrastructure and Engineering includes the organizational units below: 

  • Communications Engineering:  Manages systems for effective transmission of communications including voice and network systems and securing data services, including internet, unified communications, wireless, and wired networks.

  • Data Center Operations:  Manages core enterprise systems and data centers, including servers, core services, on-premise data centers, and virtual data centers

  • Endpoint Management:  Manages all LCPS endpoint devices including Windows, Chromebooks, and iPads and provides services such as software deployment, software testing and workstation image development

  • Technology Support Center:  Manages centralized service desk support for LCPS staff and students, implements process improvements for Information Technology Service Management, and is the single point of contact for LCPS technology support

Technology Support Center

The Technology Support Center (TSC) is the single point of contact for front-line technology support across the LCPS community. Engineers are primarily responsible for incident, problem, and change management, in addition to the development of ITSM tools (Support Center). We provide value by resolving incidents and requests on a first-call basis or seamlessly escalating to a subject matter expert (SME). Please don't hesitate to call, email, or submit a self-service request anytime technology assistance is needed.
