IMPORTANT ENROLLMENT NOTICE
Maximum class sizes for the 2024-2025 school year have been established at LCPS elementary schools as follows for Frances Hazel Reid Elementary School:
Kindergarten: 23 students per class- Currently at Capacity
4 classes for 2024-205
Grade1: 23 students per class
5 classes for 2024-205
Grade 2: 23 students per class NOTE: Grade 2 may drop to 5 classes in mid-July depending upon enrollment. Should this occur, Grade 2 will be at CAPACITY.
6 classes for 2024-205
Grade 3: 23 students per class
5 classes for 2024-205
Grades 4: 23 students per class
5 classes for 2024-205
Grade 5: 23 students per class- Currently at Capacity
6 classes for 2024-2025
As these maximums are reached at specific grade levels, new students will be assigned to another LCPS school through the Office of Elementary Education and placed on a numbered waiting list. If space should become available during the year, parents will be given the option to either enroll their child at the home school or have their child remain in the overflow school for the reminder of the school year. Transportation will be provided by the school district for any child assigned to an overflow school.
