Mrs. Cali

Hello! I am Mrs. Cali and I am excited to be one of your school counselors this year at Hillside Elementary School! This is my fifth year at Hillside Elementary. Before Hillside, I spent 9 years in middle school and I'm excited about the transition to elementary school. I received my undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University and my master's degree in School Counseling from Liberty University.

I live in Brambleton with my husband and an amazing eight-year-old daughter. During my free time, I spend time with my family; doing arts and crafts with my daughter, building LEGO, and going to Disney!

I'm delighted to join the Hillside Elementary School family and work with this year’s 3rd, 4th and 5th graders! This is my second year at Hillside.  

After a career in broadcast news in New York, covering stories about education programs and policies, I decided to devote my talents to working with students and helping put those programs into action. I began this second career in Connecticut working with Special Education students.

I'm most excited about helping students discover opportunities to make themselves proud and to think creatively about their own unique futures. Dream big, Hawks!

I hold an undergraduate degree in Political Science and a Master of Education with a concentration in School Counseling.
