Vegetarian & Vegan Meals
We offer a number of menu items that meet the needs of a vegetarian and vegan diet. Please visit our online menus and select "Vegetarian" and "Vegan" as dietary restrictions from the drop down bar to view available meal options.
Allergies
Student allergies are very important to us at LCPS School Nutrition.
LCPS is a completely peanut and tree-nut free district. We do not serve products that contain any of the following ingredients or products manufactured in a facility that contains: almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, peanuts, pecans, pistachios, or walnuts.
To view allergies in menu items, please visit our online menus. You may hover over menu items to view the allergies present or you may filter by allergens by using the drop-down bar at the top.
To view dietary restrictions on the online menu, indicate the preferred dietary restriction by checking the box at the top of the screen.
In addition, The Department of Pupil Services has adopted the following allergy-resource handbook and has made it available to the community: Procedural Handbook for Students with Allergies.
LCPS is aware of the change to the sesame allergen guidelines beginning January 1st, 2023. Sesame has been added to the top 9 allergens, and will be identified on any LCPS products that contains the ingredient. Several of our vendors have released statements that address this change as well. See full list and document here for vendor issued statements.
