While teachers work diligently to educate students in the classroom. Parents and guardians play a vital role in a child’s academic success. It is important for parents and guardians to be involved, to support and to advocate for their children.

One key MSAAC initiative is access to resources.  This section will evolve and grow as we work to build a robust parent resource. In addition to the information and resources found on this page.

While we work to gather more resources, below are a few immediate actions parents are guardians can take to keep your child on track for academic success

• Be involved in your child’s school activities.

• Get to know your child’s teacher and school administrators.

• Volunteer when possible, ask questions, express your ideas and concerns.
