LCPS Update Graphic/Image

On Tuesday, August 27, LCPS leaders will join me to help answer your questions in a one-hour, virtual Back-to-School Question and Answer Session.

This virtual session will be streamed on the LCPS website and broadcast on LCPS TV, Verizon FIOS Channel 43 and Comcast Cable Channel 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Submit your questions in advance using our Back-to-School Questions form. My team and I will review the questions in advance, and answer as many as we can in the streamed session.

I am excited to welcome more than 83,000 students and 13,000 staff back into our buildings on Thursday, August 22. But I recognize that going back to school can be a busy time. You and your family may have questions about resources available for students, how to access information, or how to learn more about classes, counseling, programs and activities. Our question-and-answer session aims to address those questions.

This is an exciting year for LCPS. We will open our 100th school as well as a few new programs. While we celebrate our new school, we continue to offer a range of programs, pathways and activities to provide students and families choices to fit their educational goals. Our schools and staff will also provide students with resources and structures needed for success.

Join me and other LCPS leaders as we address some of your questions about Back-to-School.

Students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members may submit questions in advance. Please submit your questions by 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 23.

The recorded Q and A session will be posted to the website as soon as available.

With appreciation for your support and participation,

Aaron Spence, Ed.D.
Superintendent
