Dominion High School hosted its annual Evening with the Arts on Tuesday, March 11, celebrating the creativity and talent of students across multiple grade levels and artistic disciplines. The event was free and open to the public and served as a celebration of creativity and a way to bring the community together through various artistic mediums.
The showcase featured visual artwork from students in kindergarten through 12th grade, representing Dominion High School, Seneca Ridge Middle School, Horizon Elementary, Lowes Island Elementary, Meadowland Elementary and Sugarland Elementary schools. Senior artwork was adjudicated for the annual art show, and student artists offered live caricature drawings.
Attendees enjoyed a multi-disciplinary lineup of performances, including Dominion’s choir, the Seneca Ridge eighth-grade chorus, Titan Theatre, Blankslate improv troupe and other small musical ensembles. The event highlighted the importance of the arts in education and provided students and the community with an opportunity to experience a variety of artistic expressions.
