Potomac Falls High School is one of only 13 high schools nationwide—and the only one in Virginia—to be named a Model School by the Center for Model Schools. The school earned the distinction through a competitive application and interview process, demonstrating a sustained commitment to student success, innovation and collaborative, high-quality instruction.
As a result, Potomac Falls will present at the 2025 Model Schools Conference, a national event attended by more than 5,000 educators. During the June 2025 event, the school will share its journey of continuous improvement and student-focused practices over the past five to seven years.
Hosted by the Center for Model Schools, a division of the International Center for Leadership in Education, the conference showcases schools that are driving transformational change in K-12 education. Honorees serve as national models of growth, innovation and excellence.
