2023 Fall Application Timeline & Requirements

• Application Window Opens | August 16, 2023

• Application Window Closes | October 18, 2023 - Fall admissions window will close at 11:00 PM

• Fall Admissions Testing Sessions | October 28, 2023 and November 4th and 11th, 2023 (Register online for one session)

• March 2024 - Admissions offers will be posted in the admissions portal

• March-August 2024 (Applicants must accept or decline all admissions offers. Waitlisted applicants will be notified as seats become ailable.)

AOS Admission Criteria

All applicants:

• Enrolled in Algebra I or above at the time of application

• Writing Assessment

• STEM Thinking Skills Assessment

• Final grade of C or above in math and science courses in grades 6 and 7, and semester I of grade 8

AET Admission Criteria

All applicants:

• Enrolled in Algebra I or above at the time of application

• Writing Assessment

• STEM Thinking Skills Assessment

• Final grade of C or above in math and science courses in grades 6 and 7, and semester I of grade 8

Parent Information Sessions - 2023 Fall Admissions Cycle

(All sessions will be in the school auditorium)

 *Interpretation Request - Please email Email Academies Admissions if you require interpretation services to attend an information session. Please include preferred date(s) and language(s). NOTE: All requests must be received no later than five (5) business days prior to your selected information session.

Testing Accommodations Information STEM Thinking Skills Assessment/Writing Assessments Accommodations

Students who are requesting testing accommodations for the Writing Assessment or STEM Thinking Skills Assessment must request the accommodations in writing to Email Academies Admissions no later October 18, 2023.

 Important:  Only accommodations for assessments that are part of an IEP (Individualized Education Program), Section 504 Plan, or an EL-APP (English Learner Assessment Participation Plan) can be considered.

**Home/Private schools students offered admission to the Academies of Loudoun must be enrolled as full-time LCPS students in order to attend the Academies of Loudoun.
