AMC 10/12 Competition

To participate:

  • Students must be a student enrolled at the Academies in order to participate.

  • Students MUST sign up (using the QR code in their math classroom) by Sept 15th, 2024.  

  • The Academies will compete in the AMC 10/12 competition on Nov 6th, 2024  (A day).

  • Students are expected to provide their own transportation to school and arrive no later

2025 AP Exam Schedule

Testing at the Academies is unique and we may have different deadlines than home schools.  Please adhere to the deadlines and directions below.

Deadline:

  • Friday, Nov 1st deadline to register for AP Exams

  Exams registered or changes made after Nov 1st will be assessed a late fee from College Board.

When signing up for an AP exam, you test where you are physically scheduled to be on that A/B day…..not necessarily where you take the class.  

Also note: 

  • For AM sessions, students MUST be at the Academies by 7:30 am (no school transportation is provided).

  • For PM sessions, students MUST be able to provide their own transportation home since our dismissal time is so much earlier than home schools.

If you are unable to provide transportation, please know that your student is able to still test at their home school instead despite being assigned to the Academies on that given A/B day.

Other notes:

  • Students will receive all email communication sent to their LCPS account.  Emails will go out monthly starting in October and become more frequent as we get closer to May.

  • Parents will receive occasional emails about your student’s specific exams sent to the email address your student entered into their College Board Account under “parent email”.
