Sole Source/Emergency Procurement
As per School Board Policy 4320, sole source procurement may be made without formal sealed bidding or competitive negotiation on the basis of a written determination that only one source is practicably available. Notice will be posted on the LCPS website on the day the contract is awarded or the decision to award is announced, whichever occurs first.
As per School Board Policy 4320, emergency procurement may be made without formal sealed bidding or competitive negotiation with a written determination of the basis for the emergency, identification of what is being procured, the contractor selected, and the date of the contract award. Notice will be posted on the LCPS website on the day the contract is awarded or the decision to award is announced, whichever occurs first, or as soon thereafter as is practicable.
