International Baccalaureate Program (IB)
LCPS currently has two International Baccalaureate (IB) World Schools, Loudoun Valley High School and Heritage High School, which offer the IB Diploma Program (DP). The LCPS Pre-IB program started in the 2023-2024 school year. For further information about IB and its programs, visit the website.

LCPS IB Student Program Status Update for the 2025-2026 School Year
Round 1: Students will receive a status update (Offered/Waitlisted) through Student Opportunities on Monday, March 10th. Students who are offered a seat in this program during round 1 will have until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, March 13th to either accept or decline their offer to participate in this program. If a student does not accept or decline their offer by the established deadline, the student seat will expire, and the seat will be automatically declined so that we can move on to round 2 offers from the waitlist.
