Academies of Loudoun AP Exam Registration Guidance
Students who attend some classes at the Academies of Loudoun and who are planning on registering for AP exam(s) should:
Look at the AP testing schedule to determine where the student will be attending classes on the day the exam is scheduled, noting whether it is an A or B day.
Register for the exam at the location the student is scheduled to be on the scheduled exam day, not the location of the class.
Scenario 1:
Samuel is taking AP Statistics at the Academies on A days. He attends his home school on B days. AP Statistics is scheduled for a B day.
*Samuel should register for the AP Statistics exam at his homeschool since he does not attend the Academies on B days.
Scenario 2:
Mary is taking AP Biology at the Academies on A days and AP World History at her home school on B days. The AP World History and AP Biology exams are both scheduled for the same day (an A day), one in the AM and one in the PM.
*Mary should register for both exams at the Academies since she is scheduled to attend Academies on A Days.
If your student is not sure which location to register for an exam, please contact your School Testing Coordinator for assistance.
Do not register for two different exams at two different locations on the same day. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to school on exam day. Due to the length of exams, it may not be possible to be transported between the homeschool and the Academies between exams.
