Digital Citizenship

As our students grow up in this digital world, we encourage our students to grow up to be good digital citizens.  Through the curriculum developed by Common Sense Media, we will continue to educate all students about digital citizenship.  Please visit the Common Sense Media website for more information and parent resources.

If students require How to/Instructional technology related questions:  DDI recommends they start with their teacher for help.

If students requires account access or hardware problems with their LCPS-provided devices:

  • Parents should first contact Mill Run's DES, Denise Angelo at 571-252-2160 x88225 or email denise.angelo@lcps.org. Ms. Angelo's hours are Monday thru Friday from 7:00AM-3:30PM. She is located in the Technology Office in the school's library.

  • Parents can also call the Technology Support Center at 571-252-2112 (if outside of DES hours). The TSC is staffed Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM (excluding holidays).

  • Parents can Email the Technology Support Center at DDI-TechnologySupportCenter@lcps.org. The TSC is staffed Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM (excluding holidays). 

  • Students in grades 3-5 can submit their own incident report by following these steps

    1. Log into LCPS Go

    2. Click on the Support Center (you should be logged in automatically, if not, use your lunch number & password)

    3. Click on the Purple + Icon (Service Catalog)

    4. Click on the red HELP button (most common filter option) and fill out the requested information and describe the issue you're having in detail.

If you are a distance learner, please use this link and fill out the Distance Learners Technology Support form. The Digital Experience Specialist, Denise Angelo, will contact you for more information and schedule an appointment.

Replacement Items for Chromebooks

Students in need of replacement items for their Chromebooks (i.e., chargers) may do so through the DDI Technology Store by visiting this link

NOTE: This is only for lost chargers. Broken chargers will still be replaced through the normal process via the Technical Support Center, as directed above.
