Resource teachers strive to provide a unique learning experience designed to meet each child’s individual needs and abilities. The resource teacher assesses the student’s strengths and weaknesses and closely monitors academic progress. The resource teacher offers support for parents and classroom teachers, suggesting strategies, classroom accommodations, and modifications that foster success for the students. Support is both collaborative as well as consultative, involving all team members.
