Join LCPS Superintennt, Dr. Aaron Spence for an engaging and educational evening focused on advocating for student success through family support and understanding.
The LCPS Student Success Talks are in full swing and will continue through Spring 2025. Scheduled across all eight election districts, these talks provide families and staff with multiple opportunities to participate.
The Student Success Talks are designed to foster meaningful conversations among families, staff and the community about how to best support student success. Sessions offer practical insights and resources to help students thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Key topics include:
Using tools like ParentVUE and other digital resources
Understanding assessments and testing
Preparing for college and career readiness
Supporting mental health and well-being
Navigating the school system and advocating for your student
Each session runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and is held at a designated middle school within each election district.
