Mission

The mission of the Brambleton Middle School Counseling Department is to provide a developmental, data-driven, equitable program to meet the academic, career, and social/emotional needs of our diverse population and to ensure that all students will be able to make meaningful contributions to the world. In collaboration with our school's stakeholders and utilizing a multi-tiered system of support, the counseling department will foster a comprehensive program that will facilitate a climate for student success and prepare students for the world beyond the classroom. Through cultivating a learning community that generates Creative thinking, Leadership skills, Inspirational scholarship, Motivational forces, and enduring Beliefs, the counseling department will promote and support the academic, social/emotional, and career development of all students. We will be approachable and collaborative as we support and encourage growth and learning; promote feedback, reflection, and positive risk-taking; and be inclusive, equitable, and respectful in order to elevate student achievement.
