We are working diligently to improve the literacy of the students at Briar Woods High School. Of particular interest to us is to foster deeper reading skills in a variety of genres, analytical writing skills, and success on the two English SOL exams: Writing and Reading. Both tests are taken during the 11th grade year of English, and students must pass both tests in order to graduate.
