What is PBIS?

PBIS is “positive behavior interventions and supports.” It is a school wide approach to behavior management and community building.

What are Houses?

Our school uses a "house system." Each student and staff member is randomly assigned a house which correlates to a constellation name and color. The houses meet monthly and particpate in activities that build each other up, teach students about character traits, and promote community and unity within our school.

Class Dojo

Students will earn house points by following the 3 R's - be respectful, be responsible, and be ready to learn. When staff see a student displaying these behaviors or additional positive behaviors, they will be awarded house points on class dojo. At the end of the month, the house with the most points points will win a prize. Individual students will also be recogonized weekly on our morning show.
