The Health and Medical Sciences (HAMSci) Academy is designed to expand learning opportunities for students in health science literacy through a curriculum centered on deeper learning that develops critical skills and competencies geared toward the healthcare field. This specialized curriculum paired with industry credentials and work-based learning experiences prepares students for in-demand highly skilled healthcare workforce careers.

• Round 3: 

  • Round 3 program status update will occur on Tuesday, April 2nd. Students who are offered a seat in this program during round 3 will have until 11:59 p.m. on April 12th to either accept or decline their offer to participate in this program. If a student does not accept or decline their offer by the established deadline, the student seat will expire, and the seat will be automatically declined so that we can move on to additional offers from the waitlist. 

• Round 2: 

  • Round 2 program status update will occur on Wednesday, March 20th. Students who are offered a seat in this program during round 2 will have until 11:59 p.m. on April 1st to either accept or decline their offer to participate in this program. If a student does not accept or decline their offer by the established deadline, the student seat will expire, and the seat will be automatically declined so that we can move on to round 3 offers from the waitlist. 

• Round 1: 

  • Students will receive a status update (Offered/Waitlisted) through Student Opportunities this Friday, March 8th. Students who are offered a seat in this program during round 1 will have until 11:59 p.m. on March 19th to either accept or decline their offer to participate in this program. If a student does not accept or decline their offer by the established deadline, the student seat will expire, and the seat will be automatically declined so that we can move on to round 2 offers from the waitlist.
